A nonprofit rehabilitation center for children with disabilities who have been orphaned, abandoned or whose families are unable to take care of them.
Gabriel House is located in Maneadero, Mexico. Director, Marisol Flores and her dedicated team of staff and volunteers provide full time residential care for young people with significant disabilities. Their expenses average about $10,000 to $15,000 per month but total revenue from all sources (including the Mexican government) only covers about 1/3 of these expenses. So, they are very dependent on donations from outside of Mexico to make ends meet.
